Staff Development Seminar "International Strategy of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University" for AY 2019

A seminar titled "International Strategy of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University" was delivered for University of Tsukuba staff at a staff development seminar on December 11. The Global Commons invited Senior Lecturer Borankulova Samal from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), which concluded a Campus-in-Campus (CiC) partnership agreement with the University of Tsukuba in November. She gave a lecture on the initiatives of KazNU for internationalization promotion, such as enriching 现金体育网_足彩澳门即时盘￥游戏赌场 Programs and measures to climb in the world university rankings.

Showing promotion videos for Kazakhstan and KazNU at the seminar, there was a good opportunity to deepening their understanding of Kazakhstan for all attendees. At the end of the seminar, a question and answer session was active and their comments were as follows: "I learned well that KazNU is leading the internationalization of the university", "It was a great opportunity to know Kazakhstan and KazNU" and "I'm very happy to hear the precious story of Kazakhstan and KazNU". To promote the concept of internationalization as a part of everyday life, the Global Commons will continue to take measures for the cultivation of global human resources.
